Meet the Owner

James Witmer bought his first two-family home in 1989 at the age of 19.  Since then he had maintained a portfolio of roughly 20 residential properties at any given time.

In 2008 he purchased a nearly vacant and neglected mill building on Pleasant Street in Easthampton.  Since then, he has expanded, revitalized, renovated and maintained over 500,000 square feet of commercial mill industrial space on Pleasant Street in Easthampton.

With an eye toward quality, consistency and reliability, he has cultivated a small trusted corps of contractors in addition to his own small, talented team of in-house professionals.

James was also a pivotal member of a private-public partnership between neighboring mill owners like himself, the City of Easthampton, state and federal authorities and local contractors that ultimately led to a multi-million dollar investment in the mill industrial zone of Easthampton, including a complete replacement of the aging and obsolete electrical service to the mills, increased parking, site lighting, visibility and public safety.
